Waste Management Plans

A waste management plan looks at how waste will be collected from your site, estimates the waste and recyclable volumes for the proposed development, reviews the on-site bin provision and assesses the proposed removal of waste from the site. Victorian based waste management plans are prepared in-line with Sustainability Victoria’s Waste Management and Recycling in Multi-Unit Developments: Better Practice Guide, 2018

BESS Reports

Built Environment Sustainability Scorecard (BESS) reports calculate energy efficiency, water efficiency, thermal comfort and overall environmental sustainability performance of your new home or renovation. Through this, builders, house owners or developers are able to demonstrate that their development meets sustainability standards as part of Planning Permit applications. Local councils participating in the BESS system will request you to submit BESS reports along with your Planning Permit submissions. Our staff are experienced at producing BESS assessment reports for houses, townhouses, units and large-scale residential developments.

Green Travel Plans

A Green Travel Plans assesses how your proposed development can create and encourage environmentally sustainable travel options. Often this includes its ability to promote the use of public transport facilities, walking or cycling options. This also considers options such as having end-trip facilities for bicycle riders, providing car-pooling options or promoting the use of electric cars. This is essentially adopting an ethical approach to your development using techniques of traffic engineering.
